The Launch Monitor Is the most important part of the setup one could almost say it makes the Sim what it is.
so its important to choose the right Launch Monitor for your custom simulator.
The best launch monitor on paper is not necessarily the best system for a specific space. Before choosing one, I would establish:
available width, depth and height in feet/inches;
right-handed only or RH/LH use;
permanent or retractable setup;
ball-to-screen distance;
available space behind the golfer;
preferred software and budget.
Not sure which fits your room? That's the first thing I'll help you figure out.
Assuming 9ft is automatically enough room. Ceiling height on paper doesn't account for your height, swing plane, or mat thickness. Swing before you build.
Most of these get expensive once the walls are closed up. Catch them before you buy anything.
