Return Policy — Cornerstone Golf TN
Last updated: [DATE]
At Cornerstone Golf TN, we want you to be confident in your setup. Because we're an authorized dealer for a range of golf simulator brands, return terms are set by each product's manufacturer — which means they can differ from one item to the next. This policy explains how returns work with us and what to expect for the different kinds of products we sell.
If you're ever unsure whether an item can be returned, just ask us before you buy. We'll always tell you the honest answer up front.
The short version
- Most new, unused, unopened items can be returned within [30] days of delivery, subject to the manufacturer's terms.
- Custom, made-to-order, and built-to-your-space items cannot be returned (more below).
- Large/freight items and electronics have special rules — please read those sections.
- Always contact us first to start a return. We'll issue a return authorization and walk you through it.
How returns work
Because each brand handles returns differently, all returns run through us so we can coordinate with the manufacturer on your behalf.
- Contact us first at [you@cornerstonegolftn.com] or [phone] within [30] days of delivery. Include your order number and the reason for the return.
- We'll confirm whether the item is eligible under that manufacturer's policy and, if so, issue a Return Authorization (RA).
- Ship the item back per the instructions we provide (or, for large items, we'll arrange freight).
- Once the item is received and inspected, we'll process your refund or exchange.
Please do not ship anything back without a Return Authorization — unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed.
Condition requirements
To be eligible, returned items generally must be:
- Unused and in new, resalable condition
- In the original packaging with all manuals, parts, and accessories
- Free of damage that occurred after delivery
Items returned used, damaged, incomplete, or without original packaging may be refused or subject to a reduced refund.
Restocking fees
Manufacturers commonly charge a restocking fee on returned equipment (often in the range of [15%–25%], depending on the brand and item). If a restocking fee applies to your item, we'll tell you the exact amount when we issue your Return Authorization, before you send anything back.
Return shipping
- For non-defective returns (change of mind, wrong choice), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, we cover return shipping — see below.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
Items that cannot be returned (final sale)
Because they're made or configured specifically for you, the following are non-returnable and non-refundable except in the case of a defect or shipping damage:
- Custom-cut or custom-sized impact screens
- Custom or made-to-order putting greens
- Custom or made-to-order enclosures
- Motorized/adjustable greens and other special-order premium equipment
- Any product built, cut, assembled, or ordered to your specifications
- Opened software, downloadable content, and license keys
- Clearance or "final sale" items (clearly marked as such)
We'll always flag when an item is final sale before you purchase it.
Large & freight-shipped items
Some products (enclosures, large greens, motorized greens, complete packages) ship by freight and have their own handling rules:
- Inspect your delivery before signing. If the packaging is visibly damaged, note it on the delivery receipt and take photos before the driver leaves. This protects your ability to file a freight damage claim.
- Report any concealed damage to us within [3–5] days of delivery.
- Returns of freight items, when permitted, require return freight to be arranged through us and may carry higher restocking and shipping costs.
Electronics & launch monitors
Launch monitors and other electronics follow the manufacturer's return and warranty policy for that specific brand:
- Unopened units can typically be returned within the standard window (subject to restocking fees).
- Opened electronics may be non-returnable or subject to a higher restocking fee, per the manufacturer.
- Defective electronics are handled through the manufacturer's warranty process — we'll help you start that claim.
Damaged or defective items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, we'll make it right. Contact us within [7] days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage. Depending on the situation and the manufacturer's policy, we'll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at no return-shipping cost to you.
Manufacturer warranties
Most products we sell are covered by a manufacturer's warranty against defects. Warranty length and terms vary by brand. Warranty claims are handled through the manufacturer, and we're glad to help you start and manage the process.
Installation services
Installation and design services are non-refundable once the work has been performed. If you need to cancel a scheduled installation, please give us as much notice as possible — deposit and cancellation terms will be outlined in your service agreement.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within [5–10] business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time to appear on your statement.
