Golf Simulator Installation in Springfield, Tennessee
Springfield is about forty minutes east of me on Highway 76. Close enough that I'm not charging you for drive time, and far enough out that the Nashville companies aren't coming this way.
I come from construction. Framing, drywall, trim. I've worked on homes across Middle Tennessee, including out here — a lot of them on acreage, off by themselves, the kind of place where you've got a shop or a barn sitting on the property already.
Building a simulator room is the same work — framing an enclosure, mounting it to something solid, running power to it, and finishing it so it looks right.
Robertson County has something most places don't: room
Out here people have shops. Pole barns. Detached garages with real ceiling height. If you've already got a building like that on your property, you're starting ahead of most people spending twice as much squeezing a sim into a basement corner.
The building is usually already there. What's missing is insulation, conditioning, and someone to build the bay inside it.
What I look at in a shop or barn
Ceiling height. Usually the good news out here. Most shops run 10 to 14 feet, which is more than you need — that means the projector mounts high and out of the way and you're not thinking about your driver.
Conditioning. Usually the work. An uninsulated metal building in Tennessee is unusable half the year and hard on the equipment the rest of it. That normally means insulation with a proper vapor barrier and a mini-split sized to the space. Not optional if you want to use the room in July or January.
The floor. A bare slab needs a moisture check and usually a pad under the turf, both for feel and for your joints. If it's cracked or uneven, that gets handled before turf goes down.
Power. Whether the panel can carry a dedicated circuit, and what it takes to get one to the bay.
