Golf Simulator Installation in Clarksville, Tennessee
Clarksville is home. I live here, I work here, and it's the market I know better than anyone building simulators in Middle Tennessee — because everybody else is an hour and a half south of us.
Most simulator companies in this region operate out of Nashville, Franklin, or Brentwood. If they come up here at all, you're a drive-time problem to them. You're not a drive-time problem to me. You're a neighbor.
What Clarksville homes actually give us to work with
This town has grown fast, and most of what's gone up in the last twenty years is slab-on-grade. That means the basement build that dominates in Nashville is rare here — and it changes the whole conversation.
What we work with instead:
- Bonus rooms over the garage. Extremely common in newer Clarksville construction. Usually 9-foot ceilings at the peak, sloped sides, and a subfloor that transmits noise straight into the room below. All solvable, but it has to be planned, not discovered halfway through.
- Attached garages. The most common Clarksville sim location. Ceiling height is usually the constraint — a standard garage runs 8 to 9 feet, and the garage door track eats into your usable space. Sometimes the door track can be reconfigured. Sometimes it can't. I'll tell you which before you spend a dollar.
- Detached shops and outbuildings. Plenty of these on the properties outside the city limits, and they make outstanding sim rooms once they're insulated and conditioned.
The Fort Campbell factor
A lot of my neighbors are stationed at Fort Campbell, and PCS timelines change the math on a build. Two things I do differently for military families:
- Honest talk about what moves and what doesn't. The launch monitor, projector, mat, and screen all come with you. The framing doesn't. If you're eighteen months from a PCS, I'll tell you to weight your budget toward portable gear, even though the framing is where I make my money.
- Timeline discipline. If you've got a report date, the build has a hard deadline. I don't start what I can't finish.
