Golf Simulator Installation in Hendersonville, Tennessee
Hendersonville is a basement town. That's both the opportunity and the problem.
A lot of the housing around Old Hickory Lake was built between the late seventies and the early two-thousands, and a good share of it has a walk-out or daylight basement. That's the best place in a house for a simulator — stable temperature, easy light control, and it's out of the way of everything else.
But older basements come with three things that stop these projects, and most companies won't bring them up until your deposit has cleared.
The three things I check first
Actual ceiling height, not the number on the listing. A basement described as 8 feet is often closer to 7'8" once the finished floor is in. Then you lose more to the screen frame. If you're tall or you swing a driver hard, you need more room than that. I'd rather tell you no on the phone than take your money and hand you a room where you can only hit wedges.
Beams and ductwork. Older basements are full of dropped soffits, main beams, and trunk lines running right where you need clearance. Ductwork can sometimes be rerouted — that's an HVAC conversation and a real cost. If it's a structural beam, the answer is usually to move the bay to a different part of the basement.
Moisture. Lake-adjacent, forty-year-old foundation. Turf and impact screens don't forgive a damp slab, and neither does a projector. I check for it, and if it's there we handle it before we build.
When the space does work
A walk-out basement with enough height is about the best simulator environment there is. Light control is easy, sound doesn't carry into the living space the way it does from a bonus room, and the temperature stays put year-round without fighting it.
If the ceiling won't work
You've still got options and I'll walk you through them. A shorter-throw projector with a lower screen mount buys you room. The garage may have more height than the basement does. Sometimes the right answer is a net and a launch monitor instead of a full enclosure — smaller job for me, right call for you.

Building a simulator room is the same work — framing an enclosure, mounting it to something solid, running power to it, and finishing it so it looks like it belongs in the house.
Most simulator companies around here are AV companies that added golf. They know projectors. They hire someone else to do the framing and drywall.
