Basement & Room Build-Outs
Unfinished space into a finished room.
I come from construction. Framing, drywall, trim. I've worked on homes across Middle Tennessee — a lot of them on acreage, standalone properties rather than subdivisions.
What's involved
- Framing — partition walls, furring out foundation walls, soffits
- Insulation and vapor barrier
- Drywall — hang, tape, finish, texture
- Trim, doors, and baseboard
- Paint
- Flooring
- Electrical and HVAC subbed to licensed guys I've worked with
Common projects
Basements into living space. Garages into rooms. Bonus rooms finished out. Shops and outbuildings insulated and conditioned so they're usable year-round.
If a simulator is part of the plan
Say so early. It's much cheaper to plan the ceiling height, the dedicated circuit, the cable runs, and the blocking for mounts during framing than to retrofit any of it later.
I'll spec that into the build at no extra cost, whether or not you end up buying the equipment from me. Same goes for a home theater — if it's coming eventually, plan it now.
If you already know you want one, here's what a full simulator build includes.
